Entomology Research

At the end of May 2002, we completed set-up of our mosquito-rearing lab. This addition provides us with the perfect tool to study and conduct research all year round. With our mosquito-rearing lab we can breed our own mosquitoes for a constant supply for performing resistance studies. Now we don't have to wait for the warmer, wetter months to come around. It also allows us to collaborate even closer with other research organizations and to provide them with a supply of mosquito larvae and/or adults. 

Another area of our research is on different variations of mosquito traps.
